Nerosicilia Verona | New Headquarters and Showroom

Nerosicilia opens its new Verona headquarters

Nerosicilia opens its new Verona headquarters in Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella, a permanent space dedicated to architects, interior designers and design professionals.

The new headquarters brings together Nerosicilia, Pietra Pece, Mosaicomicro, Domenico Mori and Marmi Santa Caterina. Their distinct identities coexist within a single exhibition concept, united by a shared vision of materiality.

The project, designed by Leonardo Talarico, creates an essential path through the existing industrial architecture. The space does not compete with the product. Instead, it creates the conditions for observing and connecting surfaces, finishes and materials.

The new Nerosicilia headquarters in Verona’s marble district

The choice of Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella, in Verona’s marble district, strengthens Nerosicilia’s presence in an area closely associated with natural stone processing.

The opening takes place in the context of Marmomac, a leading international event for the natural stone industry, bringing together companies, professionals, architects and designers in Verona every year.

Marmi Santa Caterina is also based here, specializing in the processing of marble and natural stone and representing one of the five identities brought together within the new space.

The new Nerosicilia headquarters thus becomes a meeting point for different materials, expertise and design languages. Mount Etna lava stone enters into dialogue with Pietra Pece from Ragusa, Mosaicomicro recycled glass mosaic and Domenico Mori surfaces. The experience also includes the marble and natural stone of Marmi Santa Caterina.

A continuous composition of materials

The journey through the Nerosicilia showroom in Verona begins in the reception area on the ground floor.

A wall approximately 15 metres long becomes the focal point of the space. Different surfaces, colours, textures and finishes alternate along a single horizontal line.

Each material retains its own identity while taking on new meaning through its relationship with what comes before and after it. The result is a continuous composition conceived as a single visual landscape.

The space is deliberately kept minimal. White enhances the light and allows the materials to take centre stage. Different colours, surfaces and identities are thus brought together within a shared vision.

800 sqm as a gallery of materials

The journey continues into the large industrial space, where 800 sqm of exhibition space are transformed into a true gallery of materials.

White partitions and screens define the space without completely dividing it. The surfaces extend horizontally across them, creating visual continuity from one area to the next. Alignments and overlaps establish relationships between colours, textures and geometries.

Each area retains its own identity while offering glimpses of the next. The sequence of elements makes the exhibition easy and immediate to navigate, while changing perspectives and views continuously transform the perception of the space.

The original industrial architecture is deliberately left visible. The flooring, structure and technical systems interact with the precision of the exhibition design. White brings order to the space, while the materials define its rhythm.

Material becomes a journey

In the final section of the Verona showroom, the material shifts in scale. It gradually moves away from the wall and becomes a physical part of the architecture.

An expanse of 500 sqm of lava pebbles creates a new landscape within the industrial space. A sequence of circular, square and irregular tabletops emerges from this surface.

The sample collection thus becomes an installation to walk through. Shapes, surfaces and finishes unfold freely, making the visitor an active part of the experience.

The contrast between the industrial shell and the precision of the surfaces is deliberately pronounced. Raw and refined, industrial and artisanal, solid and void coexist within the same space.

A new space for Nerosicilia in Verona

The new Nerosicilia headquarters in Verona brings together the Group’s different identities in one place. Architects and professionals can experience materials, surfaces, finishes and different application possibilities firsthand.

Not a traditional showroom, but a permanent space built around materials. A place where stone, mosaic, ceramics and natural surfaces become part of a single narrative dedicated to architecture and design.
