Firmly rooted in its context, the Crudo Bar project, located within Mangia's Torre del Barone Resort, pays homage to the Insula Ferdinandea, which emerged in 1831 just off the coast of Sciacca following an underwater volcanic eruption. Briefly claimed by the British fleet, the island was soon eroded by the waters until it settled at a depth of around 6 meters. Though the island vanished, it left the Sicilians, particularly the people of Sciacca, with a priceless legacy: the Sciacca Coral.

With the use of various products, the project proposes the enhancement of the room adjoining the main bar and its terrace overlooking the Strait of Sicily.
The natural lava stone flooring in the Multiplem laNera version, with Colourfield Coral glazing alternating with the opaque and glossy decorations of iRicami neri, evokes the surface of a rippling nocturnal sea, reflecting glimpses of the ceiling net and greenish hues from the cushions.
Nerosicilia opens a new destination dedicated to materials, architecture and design in Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella.
