Piero Lissoni for nerosicilia, evolution of matter

Nerosicilia's quest to show the inexhaustible expressive power of the extraordinary material that is Etna's lava stone continues with the same passion as ever.
For 2018, Nerosicilia entrusts the design strength of Piero Lissoni with the creation of two brand new collections: Palazzo and Iso.

Palacetradition-inspired floors

In the versions Quadro, Greca and Rombo, the Palazzo collection intends to evoke, albeit in a new language, the beautiful traditional floors in wood or marmette, using the materiality and warm, dark tones of lava stone, which, processed by Nerosicilia with polished glass silk-screen printing, transforms the classical styles into a kind of precious filigree.

ISO, modern geometric patterns

The ISO collection proposes some layouts of only cut and fitted lava stone, trying to deny as much as possible the rigidity of modular repetition. By exploiting the small chromatic and surface differences that characterise this material, very natural and warm patterns can be obtained that recall the atmospheres created by parquet.
