For us, design as a shared process is not an abstract concept. It is a concrete practice that originates from the material, from time, and from the people involved. Design is not an isolated gesture nor an act belonging to a few, but a path that takes shape through the contribution of those who participate in the production process.
The Mosaicomicro project was born precisely from this vision: design not as a final result, but as a collective construction, in which every phase has a role and every gesture contributes to giving meaning to the outcome.
Design as a shared process: collaboration with the PietrAngolare Social Cooperative
For years we have been collaborating with the PietrAngolare Social Cooperative PietrAngolare, entrusting them with a concrete part of the product creation process.
This is not symbolic support or a parallel initiative, but a real and ongoing collaboration, fully integrated into production.
Within this process, work becomes an opportunity for active participation, awareness, and shared responsibility. Every person involved contributes to the creation of a surface that is not only material, but also an expression of a system of values.
This approach reflects our idea of design as a shared process, in which value is created by working together.
