"Bluse" is inspired by the iconic sailor shirts worn by women in the second half of the 19th century. A refined reference that echoes the style of the female figures portrayed by Pierre-Auguste Renoir in "Le Moulin de la Galette", where the the light stripes of the fabrics become a symbol of lightheartedness and beauty.
Like Impressionist brushstrokes, the surfaces of "Bluse" also tell a story of light and color in motion. The striped composition, created in full field with the colorfield technique, transforms lava stone into a vibrant fabric, capable of evoking atmospheres suspended between dream and reality.
The color palettes are sophisticated and harmonious: from blacks to whites, from vibrant reds to lilacs, from indigo to powdery sky blues, all the way to meadow green and sand yellow. Each combination is a family of tones, a visual melody that reflects the variety and richness of nature and art.
