Cruise Ship Interiors 2024

Nerosicilia triumphs at Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Europe 2024: Innovation and Sustainability at the Centre of Naval Design

The Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Europe held on 4 and 5 December 2024 at ExCeL London, saw the participation of Nerosicilia as the absolute protagonist of sustainable design for cruise ship interiors. Present at stand 210, the Sicilian company enchanted the public with an innovative proposal with a strong visual impact, earning the prestigious award "Most Accessible Stand".

Mosaicomicro: Innovative and Sustainable Design for the Marine Sector

In the exhibition space, Nerosicilia presented a unique installation consisting of nine curved panels of Mosaicomicro each characterised by different colours. This revolutionary mosaic, made from recycled materials, is the perfect example of how design and sustainability can be harmoniously integrated. With a thickness of only 4 mm Mosaicomicro is lightweight and therefore ideal for use on boats, where weight is a crucial factor.

Beside its lightness, the real innovation lies in its modelling. Thanks to its ability to adapt to curved shapes, mosaic goes beyond the traditional concept of covering flat surfaces, opening up new creative possibilities for naval interior design.

A Sustainable Design Success

The interest aroused by the Nerosicilia stand was not limited to its aesthetics. The combination of the material's quality, sustainability and versatility attracted the attention of architects, designers and operators in the sector. The 'Most Accessible Stand' award was tangible recognition of the company's commitment to proposing innovative and accessible solutions designed to meet the challenges of the marine sector.

Nerosicilia: Made in Italy Innovation for the Global Marketplace

Participation in the Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Europe 2024 confirms Nerosicilia as a reference point in the world of sustainable design. Its ability to combine traditional craftsmanship and technological innovation results in unique solutions, perfect for the most demanding contexts, such as cruise ships.

With this success, Nerosicilia strengthens its position on the international scene, proving that Italian design can be not only beautiful, but also ethical and functional.
