Macros of traditional lace and fabrics are layed on the lava stone through screen printing, creating two unique and tactile series, iRicami and iTessuti. #wall #patterns #glazed #decoration
Macros of lace trimmings drop on the lava stone slabs, with folds and chiaroscuros interacting with the surface. The screen printing on lava stone creates a sense of softness and sensuality, without covering the background.
iRicami is available in many surface colours, which change their mood according to the colour of the lace pattern. White lace creates an innocent mood, while black lace recalls the Sicilian sensuality.
Decorations are made with five different lace designs, with geometric or floral patterns. The slabs are covered with whole lace clothes and each module magnifies the patterns.
Screen printing adds a layer of fabric patterns on lava stone, re-creating the idea of endless textile rolls ready to be cut to create tailored spaces.
Jpeglab have designed five patterns, ranging from floral and oriental to geometric motifs, in seven different colours. Modules with different patterns can be mixed to create a patchwork effect.
Mixing backgrounds — available in the statement colour laNera and the more etherial enneUno — and colours of the patterns can create radically different effects.
