AinP Studio Architettura e Design on Architetti Italiani: the ‘Casa OS’ project in collaboration with Nerosicilia

The Casa OS project, located in Vittoria (RG) and designed by AinP Studio Architettura e Design, has been published in the prestigious volume Architetti Italiani. This project represents excellence in contemporary architecture. In fact, it combines design, sustainability and high-quality natural materials, such as Ragusa Pietra Pece, supplied by Nerosicilia Group.

Casa Os is a true house-museum, designed for clients who are passionate about art. Every architectural detail enhances beauty, functionality and living comfort. The building is divided into two distinct volumes: the first, on the ground floor, has a pure shape and white finish; the second, located above, stands out for its bolder geometry and raw earth slab cladding. This visual contrast reinforces the character of the project.

The internal staircase, made of oak, connects the two floors and looks like a real sculptural element. It also contributes to the harmony between aesthetics and functionality.

The interiors use natural materials and advanced technologies to ensure comfort and control. These systems regulate light, temperature, electrical systems and solar shading. The result is a perfect balance between efficiency and beauty.

Some of the most iconic elements are:
–Honed Ragusa Pietra Pece flooring
-Washbasins carved from single blocks of stone
– Exhibition loggia with cantilevered steel structure
– Outdoor kitchen clad in lava stone

The exhibition area on the first floor evokes the atmosphere of an art gallery. Natural light, filtered through semi-transparent windows, enhances the works on display. In addition, an opening wall connects the interior with the exterior, amplifying the usability of the space.

Lo Vento srlsa company specialising in construction and plant engineering, oversaw the construction of the project. The photographs are by Filippo Poli,a well-known professional in the field of architecture and design.
